Mulled wine wasn't that tasty

Unfortunately by far the worst mulled wine on the mulled wine trail.

Magically nice service, very good wine and fantastic food.

You have to have been. Small, fine, good food and good service. The appearance of the outside is deceptive, relax inside or outside.

Well I was here today and I have to say that a starch can't be worse, cold, not properly seasoned, stringy and badly fried. The service totally okay, a shame.

Very friendly and attentive staff! We were served warmly, quickly and courteously. The Kölsch came cold and tapped and the food was nicely presented and tasted great. Relaxed atmosphere, pleasant and well mixed audience.

Mostly unfriendly staff who prefer to smoke in front of the door rather than serve the customers. The food was a little better than the service but unfortunately below average.

Everything was great here. The schnitzel and above all the warm potato salad, simply delicious. Price / performance is also right. The service was also great. Friendly and quick. All in all very recommendable.

Good and varied food vividly prepared

The Elsa looks a bit inconspicuous from the outside. At first glance, it looked like a simple pub / bar with an outdoor area (which is not meant negatively, since we were actually looking for something like this). The drinks cards in the outdoor area had unfortunately seen better times (some pages fell out; many pages had stains on the drinks). But the selection of drinks - especially gin and other spirits - was really very large. And the drink prices are perfectly fine (for Cologne and the location). But then we got the menu, which pleasantly surprised us. (We assumed a pub / bar). The selection is small but completely sufficient, so that everyone should find something for themselves. There were also no 08/15 items on the menu. The waiting time for food was okay, which actually speaks for a fresh preparation. While waiting, we got a little greeting from the kitchen in addition to the usual fresh slices of bread with olives and herb butter (??): iced melon soup with hot spices (which I just can't think of ^^) - mega delicious :-). When we got our meal (tomato and mozzarella salad and salmon linguine), we were finally convinced of the Elsa. It was really fresh, tasted very good and also nicely arranged. Sure, one can certainly argue about the portion size (in relation to the price). However, we have had enough and have not regretted our decision. If you just look at the food (and the menu), you might think it would be a fine dining restaurant ... The service was also great: nice, friendly and fast.

Super nice restaurant with fresh, varied cuisine. Great selection of drinks and super cool cocktails. Daily changing lunch offers. A must in summer because of the sunny terrace. Friendly and open-minded service! Always my pleasure!

Very good cuisine at decent prices and pleasant portion sizes. A small criticism on this evening was that not all dishes on the balanced menu had to be ordered. But this was certainly only due to the previous carnival weekend (11/11)). The cocktails are another highlight, especially since there is not only the usual cocktail offer. There is a star deduction for the ambience; it is only recognizable in the beginning and can still be expanded ? Overall, we were more than pleasantly surprised and hope that the operators have the strength and perseverance to implement their concept and ideas in this place. Zero eight fifteen there are now more than enough!
